MOLTEN MIDI 2™ is a programmable stompbox that offers five original new ways to control the Digitech Whammy 4. MOLTEN MIDI 2 lets you access notes that aren't normally available on the Whammy and sequence them into elegant harmonies and improbable riffs which can automatically loop or change each time you press the button. Molten MIDI 2 stores 15 programs, that are created manually or using our free, easy-to-use Programming Utility. Easy to Use!
MOLTEN MIDI 2 comes with 15 cool programs to get you started. Programs are selected using the footswitches and are indicated using the Whammy's own LEDs. The Whammy works normally when Molten MIDI 2 isn't sending data.

Programs come in 5 different types and can be up to 16 steps each:
• Loop Portamento programs cycle through sequences of virtual expression pedal positions. "Portamento" means you hear the Whammy "slide" from one step to the next, rather than "jump", as if the expression pedal is moving.
• Loop, No Portamento programs are just like the Portamento version, except Whammy doesn't "slide" from one position to another, it "jumps".
• Step Portamento programs step through sequences of virtual expression pedal positions each time the Step button is pressed. As the Whammy changes to a new "virtual" position, you hear it "slide" up or down to the new position.
• Step, No Portamento programs are just like the Portamento version, except Whammy doesn't "slide" from one position to another each time Step is pressed, it "jumps".
• Different Settings programs step through selected Whammy settings each time the Step button is pressed. The virtual position of the expression pedal is not affected.

Connections
Molten MIDI 2 connects to your stock Whammy using a standard MIDI cable - no modifications required!
Molten MIDI 2 requires a separate or isolated 2.1 mm, tip-POSITIVE (opposite of BOSS), 9 volt DC power supply.
The Molten MIDI 2 Programming Utility requires Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, or Mac OSX version 10.5 or later, and an attached Standard MIDI Output Device. Cheap USB MIDI devices will not work. We cannot guarantee that your MIDI interface will work. Click here to purchase a USB MIDI device (Mac or PC) that we know works.
MOLTEN MIDI 2 is powered by standard "BOSS" type 9-volt DC, 2.1mm, 100mA min., tip negative power supply (sold separately). Current draw ~ 100mA.

- extract the .zip file then just copy the .exe file to your desktop and double click!
- put the Factory Presets .syx file in your Molten MIDI 2 folder and open it using the Programming Utility
- read the Software License Agreement before using
